There are lots of contributions that had been made by Tan Sri Dato' Ungku Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz:

• She had successfully play a vital role in the development and implementation of monetary policy and at the same time ensure the financial system stability of Malaysia
• Able to handle the transformation of country's financial system in order to be the strongest and respected financial system and increase the contribution of small and medium enterprises(SMEs) in Malaysia
• Actively persistence shape the future of financial cooperation in Asia and become the most important person to emerge economics in international level
• Promote the regional integration by be a leader in Pasukan Petugas Mesyuarat Eksekutif Bank Pusat Asia Pasifik Timur (EMEAP) on discussing the regional cooperation among Asian central banks

• Actively involved in the development of Islamic finance until more than 100 institution either domestic and international stage in Malaysia
• Islamic banking increase highly by three times to 21 percent

With all this contributions, there is no doubt why the government side confidently still want her  to be the Governor of Malaysia. She really has the leadership characteristic although she is only a women.
